Eminem Joins Rihanna for Last Girl on Earth Show

23 July 2010

Rihanna’s Last Girl on Earth tour was damaged by poor ticket sales in a bad summer for concerts, but fans thronged the tour’s L. A. stop on Wed. night. During the two hour show, Rihanna displayed some raunchy moves, a touch of violence and pyrotechnics.
However the primary USP of the night was surprise appearance by Eminem. The show opened straight after 7:30 p.m. As Gymnasium Class Heroes figurehead Travie McCoy prepared the ground aflame with his debut solo album, Lazarus.
McCoy, tattooed from top to tail, wearing jeans, a T-shirt, suspender straps and a paperboy hat, gave a 20-minute exciting performance that rocked the arena. McCoy explored each corner of the stage while performing tracks including “The Manual,” “Dr. Feel Good” and the summer hit ” Multi-millionaire ” sans Bruno Mars. He concluded the show with softer ( yet probably still sour ) side with the breakup song “Need You.” just after McCoy left the stage, Kesha kept the fans on their toes with a fantabulous performance. The crooner entered to the stage between two huge lighting props directly after eight p.m. Among deafening echoes of “Right Round”. Kasha led the gang while teaching them to “Stand up right now!” “I can’t believe I’m playing a show at the motherf—in’ Staples Center!” the Animal frontman exclaimed as she broke into “Blah, Blah, Blah”.
